City of Santa Ana (Downtown Orange County) is asking parents; Is Your Child A Tagger?
I personally found this through Wooster Collective, and I simply had to post it in here as well. I Especially like the guidelines on how to see or how to know if your son/ daughter is doing graffiti. Some of the points are really extremely funny and so old school. The second and the last indicators are particularly droll; “Your child frequently wears baggy pants or carries a large backpack.” & “Your child associates with other people who exhibit these same traits. These other people may be members of your child’s “tagging crew.”
But talking of tagging, I know I did mention my amazement by good street here on simplecommonsense last week , but no need not to do it again, as I just want to highlight the cool blog post PingMag is running on their blog at the time of this is written. It is about street art in Columbia with focus on the wicked street-art collective ‘Excusado Printsystem’ - definitely worth checking out!

that thing is retarded. im a graffiti artist/tagger and i know for a fact that aint catching anyone. if you actully catch your kid being a tagger with this you might want to check if he has mental problems. cause i know that i never walk down the street with my hood up my hat on and a bandanna that just makes you look suspicous. and if you actually see you kid with paint and markers they arent even trying to hide it so more then likely they arent doing anything with it

this is stupid, no fukin kid dresses up like that..and most taggers dont dress suspicious… just like me..i always go tagging with my skateboard so if i cop asks me what im doing late outside i have an excuse…and plus no and days taggers drive and when theres a spot that needs to be catch they just pull over…so its kinda rare to see taggers walking at night!!!
i tag i never go like that maybe ill put on a bandana if im by a spot with cameras but i dont leave the house like that
