Union Jack should include the Welsh Dragon. Or should it?
Margaret Hodge (UK Culture Minister) are already considering the proposal, and this is the cause of one huge debate! Some of the arguments are; Should the dragon then only take out 5% of the flag as the Welsh population does of the UK? Should New Zealand an Australia also change their flags then, as Union Jack is a part of their current flags?
It seems like people hate the idea. The best comment I have heard yet though, is the one from ‘francaisenyc’ over at the Guardian, who says: ‘As well as a dragon, I’d like to see the 2012 Olympic logo in there somewhere too’.
At ‘We Are Multi Coloured’ you can upload your suggestion/design for a new Union Jack!
Have a nice weekend everybody!

Just found out about this Canadian artist called Kriss Knight - he is really really cool! I will let Mr. Knight talk for himself as he has a pretty wicked approach to his art;
“Within my professional practice as a visual artist, I have concentrated on the creation of thematic series of figurative works with narratives that explore various expressions of duality and test the boundaries of identity. The visual compositions I create examine notions of performance inherit in all constructions of identity, whether sexual or asexual.
My project’s themes have often dealt with the notion of hiding and fronting. Whether it has been lesbian teen tomboys galloping with their sissy boy beards, or pristine pompadoured women wearing their drug abused catastrophes in their hair, the portraits I paint are often a balancing act of concealing identities and desperately wanting to let it go.
My work involves the creation of invented and biographical character-based narratives that attempt to find an awkward balance between pretty and menace - an often sad but spirited personal dichotomy that has always appealed to me as a figurative artist and continues to influence my current artistic endeavors.”

Count the number of F’s in the text above! How many can you find?
This may seem dull and boring, but I just found this picture surfing on the internet, and wanted to share it with you!
The answer is 6 F’s. I saw 3 which is the normal, 4 is good, and if you find 6 F’s the first time you look at it, you must be a genius.
Many people apparently misses the F’s in the word OF which is to be found three times. Weird stuff!

Wow, what a fantastic thing to have, I must buy it. Actually, I think I will buy it, dress up as Chewbacca, watch all the films on my DVD shelve (incl. Lord of The Rings, Star Wars and The Hulk) while I’m eating fried rice with soy sauce. When I’m full of rice and I begin to dehydrate in my Chewbacca outfit, I will go to bed and read in my Marvel Encyclopedia (Hardcover).
By the way, if anyone want to buy buy it, this is where I found it.

I’m in London. It’s getting pretty cold these days, especially as my jacket was bought for the purpose of keeping me warm during the summer nights.
I’ve decided to keep my jacket, and just buy a bearded cap from Icelandic Vik Prjonsdottir, as this is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time. Don’t know if that makes me a nerd, by anyways, this cap is wicked.
Vik Prjonsdottir are making all sorts of cool woolen accessories, and I believe they know what they are doing, as Iceland must be f…ing cold this time a year.
Thank to Kitsune Noir.

Jurassic 5 once made a song called ‘What’s Golden’. One thing I know for sure is that they didn’t mention shit.
Anyways, according to my knowledge of shit, shit is the expelled feces from ones body. Last time I looked down in my toilet or underpants(hmmm…), my feces wasn’t golden. Quite opposite actually.
Nevertheless, this shit of gold can be yours for only 19$. What you want to use it for is then up to you!

Besides being my neighbours, Concrete Hermit shows some really cool stuff in their recently opened gallery at Club Row in London.
The other day, I was forced to buy this poster as it more or less included all my childhood heroes just a bit older, out of shape and almost bold. Except Titin, my favourites are all in it, and especially superman, spiderman and winnie the pooh made me laugh my guts out.
Besides these Ian Stevenson illustrations, they have cool t-shirts, posters, prints, books and right now feature an exhibition called ‘Put it Back’ by Anthony Burrill.

Science & Sons has developed this mean stereo, using only, and nothing but CERAMICS!
You can plug you earphones to this nicely designed ‘gramophone’ and get the same volume as an average computer speaker, without using electricity. I wonder how the bass will sound?
Anyways, its cool, and you should have it in you flat, house, bungalow or whatever.
Visit Science & Sons’ site for details and information.
